·        Please read below so that you can be aware of the expectations of you and all of the other participants.

The program begins at 8:00a.m. and ends at 4:00p.m.   Anyone arriving late will be subject to a fine by the court system.

Our Policies on Smoking:

Ø      No smoking of any kind allowed on the property

Ø      Smoking causes fires.

Ø      This includes cigarettes, cloves, marijuana, and any other substance that can be inhaled.

Ø      Any person caught smoking will be failed and will need to repeat the program with additional fees.

Ø      We take NOT smoking very seriously.

Our policies on Drinking:

Ø      All empty beverage containers will need to be put into a trashcan provided at the farm.

Ø      Drinking of alcohol or mood altering chemicals is prohibited.  You will fail for the day and need to repeat the day with additional fees.

Our policies on Fighting:

Ø      No fighting:  This is program has been designed to help you grow as a person.  It is our belief that no human being deserves to be told, “Do as I say or I’ll hurt you!” This means you too.  If you feel like there might be trouble coming on please go DIRECTLY to your supervisor and explain the situation.

Ø      Any disagreement between attendees amongst each other or with the staff shall be left at that, a disagreement.

Ø      No disrespect: Out of respect for the staff and others there, you will be expected to listen to the staff and reply with respect.  No foul language will be tolerated on the farm.  If your level of respect is not consistent with expectations, we will fail you and have you repeat the program with additional fees.

Our policies on horses:

Ø      No "horse play":  Our first concern is safety for you and the horses.  These large animals can get spooked.  Do not handle the horses unless you have been shown how by a Supervisor or have been approved to do so.

Ø      Do not stand or walk behind a horse

Ø      Do not stand between two or more horses. (If they try to kick the other horse-you will get the brunt of it!)

Ø      When you eat or drink while you are here, PLEASE throw your trash away.  Plastic is a death sentence for a horse.

Ø      Do not hand feed the horses - if a horse bites your finger-you could loose it.
