Debbie GillBorn in Career
information My
experience lies heavily in tax preparation, accounting, administrative duties,
and tech. Support and I have a license to sell insurance.
A few years ago my sister was helping to volunteer for Horse Rescue,
Relief and Retirement Fund, Inc. and asked me to help do research to find out
what information was required to get the tax-exempt status.
After months of writing and rewriting the application I sent the
application in and within a year the rescue had it’s 501-©(3) tax-exempt
status. A few years later, Becki Jo
asked me to help her prepare her application for a new non-profit organization
she wanted to create. Together with
the aid of a wonderful CPA named David Cantrell, located in Cumming, we were
awarded the 501-©(3) tax-exempt status as well.
Interests I am
hoping to up for the “World’s Greatest Auntie” award for 2002.
My interests other than my family and friends are a love for cooking and
gardening.
Background Watching money is what I do best, but the need for trust and integrity in this area is what called my name. Some may think me cheap. I prefer thrifty. The devils in the details and I’m right in there with him to make sure money spent was spent wisely and has an accessible and correct paper trail. |
